Taxonomic notes
H. ottorum was synonymized with H. septagon by Sawyer 2019 based on a population study of H. septagon showing greater variation in morphological traits than previously known. However, this variation does not account for all of the traits H. ottorum was described with, and does not account for genetic differences. H. ottorum should be considered a valid species for now with a distinct need for follow up
